Abuse of the Scheme

In some cases even an IP right owner can not guarantee that all supporting documents about the rights are valid. For example, if the draft of the trademark is done by a contractor, an IP right owner has to rely on the documents prepared by the contractor. No legal liability will be attached to the IP right owner if a vow to show his sincerity in believing those documents to be valid. If any vow is made fraudulently, the IP right owner may risk a criminal record and imprisonment if convicted.
